What We Can Cut

Thickness. 0.5mm to 12.7mm in standard solid sheet stock. Thin films and gasket materials go down to 0.13mm. Specialty pads run up to 15mm.

Above 5mm, expect some edge concavity. Thick silicone compresses under the die before it severs, so the cut face pulls in slightly at the waist. We will tell you at quote stage if your thickness and tolerance combination is going to fight each other, and whether laser or a different method solves it.

Sheet and part size. Flatbed presses take sheets up to 900 x 1575mm (36" x 62"). Roll-fed rotary runs 1.2m to 1.5m wide by continuous length.

Tolerance. ±0.2mm.

Material. Solid silicone. We do not cut sponge or foam.

Sheet stock comes from our own silicone sheeting, so grade and thickness are controlled before cutting rather than bought in.

Choosing a Cutting Method

We utilize various cutting methods to achieve precision and quality in every product:

• Rotary Die Cutting: Ideal for high-volume production of intricate shapes with clean edges.
• Flat Bed Die Cutting: Precise for small to medium batches, offering flexibility in design complexity.
• Laser Cutting: Enables intricate designs and tight tolerances for specialized applications.
• Kiss Cutting: Cuts the silicone without cutting the liner beneath it, so parts stay on the backing sheet for shipping and peel off at assembly. Used for adhesive-backed gaskets and anything applied by hand on a line.

We work closely with you to determine the optimal silicone type and cutting method based on your specific application needs. This ensures a final product that meets stringent industry standards for quality and performance.

Die Cut Silicone for Automotive

Gaskets, sealing washers, insulators, and vibration pads cut from solid silicone sheet. Heat resistance and compression set matter more than appearance in most of these parts, so material grade is confirmed against your service temperature before anything is cut.

Roll-fed rotary suits repeat production volumes. Flatbed suits larger parts and short runs. We confirm which at quote.
