About Dabojin Custom Silicone Manufacturer

Dabojin manufactures custom silicone components for technical, industrial, and OEM applications. Our work covers the workflow from design evaluation to tooling, prototyping, validation, and production. We operate with defined tolerances, documented materials, and traceable manufacturing steps.

We collaborate with engineering teams, designers, and organizations that require controlled silicone manufacturing processes and predictable output.

Our approach to working with clients

Our capability in production

  • Silicone Compression Molding: Gaskets, seals, vibration dampeners, keypads, soft touch.
  • Silicone Over-molding: Soft overlays on devices, protective covers, silicone built with other materials. Flexible covers for lab instruments.
  • Liquid Silicone Injection Molding: Catheters, tubing connectors, baby products.
  • Silicone Extrusion Molding: Hose and tubing for fuel systems, engine parts, bathroom seals etc.
  • CNC Mold Machining: Mold in house, DFM, design assistance.
  • Silicone Die Cutting Medical: Thin gaskets and pads, decorative pieces, washers. Labels and protective overlays.

See our: custom silicone production methods.

Project Input Requirements

We typically work from the following project inputs:

  • 2D drawings (DXF, DWG, PDF)
  • 3D CAD models (STEP, IGES)
  • Material specifications or functional requirements
  • Defined tolerances or acceptance ranges
  • Estimated volumes and production phases
  • Regulatory constraints (food contact, skin contact, RoHS, REACH, etc.)

If required information is missing, we request it before starting tooling.

Design Review (DFM)

Every new project undergoes a technical review:

  • Wall thickness and uniformity
  • Undercuts and demolding feasibility
  • Membrane zones and thin sections
  • Flow and vent paths for LSR and compression molding
  • Parting line selection
  • Expected shrink and tolerance stack
  • Bonding interfaces for overmolding

Feedback is given as specific geometry recommendations when needed.

Tooling

Silicone tooling is handled internally:

  • Silicone molds are designed and machined in-house.
  • Tool modifications and optimizations are carried out within our workshop.

For projects that include plastic housings, metal inserts, PCBs, or other non-silicone components for overmolding, these components are supplied by the client or sourced externally. Only silicone tooling is manufactured in-house; non-silicone tools are not produced internally.

Prototyping

Prototype samples are used to evaluate:

  • Membrane behavior and flexibility
  • Compression and sealing function
  • Fit within the final assembly
  • Tear resistance and mechanical performance
  • Visual defects and surface quality
  • Overall manufacturability

Production Workflow

Typical production steps include:

  1. Material verification and batch documentation
  2. Mold preparation and parameter setup
  3. Controlled curing cycles
  4. Demolding and trimming
  5. Dimensional checks and functional inspection
  6. Aging, when required by specification
  7. Final quality control and packaging

Material Options

We work with a range of silicone materials:

  • Food-grade silicone (default for general applications)
  • Industrial-grade silicone for temperature or chemical exposure
  • Medical-adjacent grades (non-implant)
  • Custom durometers across a defined Shore A range
  • Color-matched silicone according to project requirements
  • Specialized blends for low compression set, high tear resistance, or specific optical properties

Material documentation and MSDS are provided. For testing protocols and compliance details, see Silicone Testing & Compliance.
