Custom Silicone Compounding and Molding
with PEEK, PTFE, and Carbon
We manufacture custom silicone parts from design to finished product. By compounding silicone with ground PEEK, PTFE, and Carbon, we create materials that perform in environments where standard silicone fails.

Material Engineering
- Silicone (Base)
Provides elasticity, sealing memory, and thermal stability up to ~200–250 °C. However, it has low wear resistance and high creep without reinforcement. - PTFE Filler
Acts as an internal lubricant to reduce friction, prevent sticking, and minimize wear. Forms a transfer film on mating surfaces. - PEEK Filler
Increases compressive strength, stiffness, and creep resistance. Extends service temperature and maintains dimensional stability under load. - Carbon Filler
Boosts tensile/tear strength and wear life. Provides thermal stability and can be used for electrical conductivity requirements (e.g., static dissipation).
Process Details
➜ Compression Molding: Suitable for bulk components, reinforced composites, and high-precision parts.
➜ Overmolding: Silicone directly bonded over metals, plastics, or other silicone parts.
➜ Tooling: Steel for production; aluminum/soft tooling for prototypes.
➜ Tolerance: Standard ±2 mm, with tighter tolerances possible after review.
Testing & Verification
We validate compounded silicone through testing methods typically required by engineers:
- Hardness (Shore A/D)
- Compression Set
- Friction & Wear Testing
- Chemical Exposure (oils, fuels, solvents)
- Tensile & Tear Strength
- Creep & Stress Relaxation
- Thermal Cycling
Applications
- Seals
- Bearings & Bushings
- Dampening
- Conductive Parts
- Industrial: Aerospace, Automotive, Oil & Gas, Electronics (Non-Medical)
