Get to Know Each Other

1st Step

It all usually starts with an email. At Dabojin, we like to learn about our clients and think like our clients. We put ourselves in the client’s shoes for a better connection. To establish this connection, we communicate via email and video meetings. Once we’ve established the connection and answered the questions, we move to the 2nd step.

Conceptualization

2nd Step

Our client sends us sketches, 3D drawings, images, and functions of the silicone product. We work on understanding the project, gathering all possible information. Then, we move to the 3rd step.

Review

3rd Step

Now we understand what you need and what you are seeking. Our engineers and designers work on finding a solution. We almost imagine that we are already manufacturing your product. Thinking about potential problems, solutions, etc., and list them. Then we move to the 4th step.

A Quote for a Prototype

4th Step

This step is crucial; it’s where gasoline meets the spark for ignition. Here, we outline the process of how we will bring your idea to reality. Transparency is important to us. We will outline your project’s process and give you an approximate timeline with a custom made quote. Once it’s approved, we will move to the 5th step.

Design

5th Step

In this step, we utilize a 3 step process. Designing the silicone product in 3D software. Designing the software for the CNC machine, and making a mold (soft tooling) using our CNC machines. Then we move to the 6th step.

Prototyping

6th Step

Now it’s time for production and testing. Here we prototype the real product according to the design. Once it’s produced, we review its function and aesthetic appeal, etc. We will be in constant touch with you, showing images and videos of your product. If the product meets expectations, we will send it to you with a tracking number for you to review. If not, we will return to the 5th step, adjust the design, and come back to the 6th step to repeat the process until the product meets expectations. Then we deliver it to you. (Note: Prototyping and design could loop for some time, but we will work hard for satisfaction.) Then we move to the 7th step

Delivery and Client Review

7th Step

In this step, you will receive and review the product. Typically, the product is as expected because we ensure it is, but if not, we will revisit the design and prototyping phases. After this, we move to the 8th step.

Custom Quote for Production

8th Step

Here, we prepare a custom quote for your product and await approval. This step is almost the same but focuses on mass production. Once you approve, we move to the 9th step.

Production

9th Step

Production is now an easier and mostly automated process because we’ve gone through all the tests and reviews. We just need to replicate the design for a new mold (hard tooling). Once products are produced, we move to the 10th step.

Quality Assurance, Packaging, Branding, and Distribution

10th Step

The final products undergo stringent quality checks, followed by packaging and branding. The last step is the efficient dispatch of the finished products, completing the product development lifecycle.

And we will be in touch with you, as completing the product doesn't mean ending our relationship with you. 🙂
