Custom Silicone Focal Beads Manufacturer

Dabojin makes custom silicone focal beads from your design. We cut the mold, run the silicone, and ship finished beads in your shape, your color, and your hardness. We work from STEP files, drawings, and sketches. We do not sell from a catalog.

Our Silicone Passes FDA, LFGB, EN 71-3, and Proposition 65

Our standard food-grade compound is tested against:

FDA 21 CFR LFGB §31 EN 71-3 California Proposition 65

Test reports are issued by an accredited third-party lab. If your product requires a standard not listed here, ask before ordering and we confirm coverage before any tooling is cut.

From Your File to Finished Bead: How It Works

Multi-Color Detail Without the Mess

We use dispensing molding (drip molding) because it is the best way to achieve high-detail, multi-color focal beads accurately.

  • Precision: Colors are placed exactly where your design requires.
  • Seamless: No injection gates or "scars" on the surface.
  • Clean: Sharp parting lines (±0.2mm) for a professional look and feel.

The mold is CNC-machined from your design files. Aluminum tooling for prototypes and short runs. Steel for production volumes where mold life matters. The cavity geometry matches your file exactly.

While we can print logos on the surface, we recommend multi-color dispensing for a premium look and feel.

  • Permanent Color: Colors are molded directly into the silicone. They won't chip, fade, or peel off like ink.
  • 3D Texture: Your design is embossed (raised) or debossed (recessed), giving the bead a professional, high-quality 3D effect.
  • Retail Ready: This method creates the "designer" look that high-end retailers and boutiques look for.

Note: If your design requires these multi-color details, please let us know at the start. We will include this in your DFM review to ensure every color transition is sharp and perfectly placed.

A Sketch or STEP File Is Enough to Start

Send a STEP file if you have one. A dimensioned sketch works too. What we need at minimum: overall bead dimensions, hole diameter and position, and target Shore hardness.

If you are not sure about hardness, 40A is standard for focal beads used in pen wraps and jewelry. 30A works better for teething applications. We can advise based on your end use.

What to Send Us

  • STEP, IGES, or STL file
  • 2D drawing with dimensions (PDF or DXF)
  •   A physical sample with key dimensions noted
  • A sketch with bead diameter, hole size, and length

Include your target quantities for prototype and production, Shore hardness if known, any compliance requirements, and a color reference if you have one. Pantone numbers and physical swatches both work.

Before We Build the Mold, We Tell You Exactly What We Can Make

We run a DFM review within 24 hours of receiving your file. We check cavity geometry, hole diameter, wall thickness, and whether the dispensing process can fill your shape consistently.

Common issues on focal beads are hole diameters under 3mm and walls below 1.5mm at the bead's narrowest point. If your design has either, we tell you. We explain the impact and give you the adjustment that fixes it. If the design is manufacturable as-is, we say so and move to quoting.

You get a written DFM response by email.

We confirm receipt and return a DFM review within 24 hours.

Every Batch Ships With the Same Dimensions, Color, and Hardness

If you sell beaded pens, jewelry, or baby products and your customers expect the same bead on every reorder, batch variation is a business problem. We control it at three points: dimensions checked against the mold drawing, color compared to your approved reference sample, and hardness checked by Shore durometer on a sample from each batch. If any of the three fall outside the approved tolerance, the batch does not ship.

Color Is Matched to a Pantone or Physical Standard Before Production Runs

We mix silicone color compounds to match your Pantone reference or a physical sample. The matched color is approved by you before any production quantity runs. On reorders, we pull the original color formula from your job record and replicate it. We do not re-match from scratch.

Start With a Prototype. Move to Production When the Sample Is Right.

Prototype tooling in aluminum lets you check your shape, color, and hardness before committing to a production run. If the prototype needs a change, we adjust the mold before production tooling is cut. When your sample is approved, production runs from the same mold.

Your Mold Is Your Property

The tooling we build for your custom silicone focal beads belongs to you. Ownership transfers when the tooling invoice is settled. We hold the mold at our facility for production use. If you move production elsewhere, the mold goes with you. Your design is not shared with other buyers or offered as a stock shape.

Factory Direct: No agents

Dabojin is a silicone and rubber manufacturer. We run the molds and control the production floor. There is no agent between your order and the factory. Lead times, minimum quantities, and quality issues are handled directly with the people making your parts.

Since 2005. Three ISO Certifications.

Dabojin has manufactured custom silicone parts since 2005. We hold ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001. Every batch is documented: material lot numbers, process parameters, dimensional inspection results, and operator sign-off. If a quality issue appears months after delivery, we can trace it back to the raw material.

If the Part Has a Defect, We Fix It.

If beads arrive with a dimensional error, a color mismatch, or a surface defect not present in the approved prototype, we replace the affected quantity. Send photos and a sample return. Once we confirm the defect, we rerun the order at no charge.
